I’m going to give you a natural way to lower blood pressure. The good news is it’ll fit any lifestyle and it comes with no negative side effects.
As a matter of fact, it will provide you with many more healthy benefits, like greater energy, less joint pain, less chance of depression, decreased inflammation, less risk of irregular heartbeats and the opportunity to get more out of life.
You will have to make some changes and be committed to them. But what’s the alternative – a shorter life with a lower quality, greater pain, more limitations, death by heart attack? You get to choose.
High blood pressure doesn’t happen over night. It takes years to develop. That’s why it’s important for you to instill good healthy eating habits for your children and grand children.
The younger we are when we develop a taste for sweets, saturated fats and hydrogenated oils the great risk we have of high blood pressure as we get older.
So here are the changes you’ll have to make. First, if you drink excessive alcohol, then stop. And if you smoke, stop that too.
“What’s the fun it that,” some people say. Well, it all depends on your definition of fun. Do you think it’s fun to die of cancer and heart disease? I’ve seen what these diseases do to people and it isn’t fun.
Neither of these habits supports a healthy life style. They cause misery and suffering and shorten your life.
If I haven’t lost you by now, that’s good. It means you’re still committed to a natural way to lower blood pressure and doing whatever works to make it happen.
The next thing on our list of natural blood pressure lowering habits is to eat more nutritious foods. You only get so many calories a day and it makes sense to insure all of your calories provide the greatest amount of nutrition possible.
Empty calorie foods include junk food, fast food, snacks, packaged meals, comfort foods, sweats and processed foods. They’re all high in saturated fats, hydrogenated oils, sugar and refined grains.
They contain everything that causes high blood pressure, high cholesterol and heart disease. And, unlike natural whole foods, they provide nothing that prevents these illnesses.
Like I said before, what’s it worth to you? If you knew that eating more vegetables, fruits, whole grains, fish, lean meats and dairy would lower your blood pressure, would you be willing to change your diet?
That’s what it’ll take. The natural way to lower blood pressure is paved with wholesome foods, eaten in moderation and accompanied by regular exercise.

Did you know that being even just a little bit overweight was risky? Well, it is.
Researchers from the National Cancer Institute, the National Institutes of Health and AARP studied more than 500,000 people between the ages of 50 and 71, to see if there was any link between being overweight and early death.
This same type of research has been done in the past, the but factors that made this study unique is that it was the first one to take into account the factors of smoking and chronic illness, both of which are contributing factors in early death. By doing this, researchers were able to see what effect obesity had on its own.
And it did have an effect. The scientists found that overweight people (Body Mass Index of 25 or higher) were 20 – 40% more likely to die early than people of normal weight. Obese people (30+ pounds overweight) ran an even higher 40-60% more change of premature death.
According to the US Government, more than 2/3 of Americans are either overweight or obese. That means that more than 2/3 of our population is at risk of an early death.
What can you to protect yourself and live a long, healthy life? Well, first of all, get your weight down to an optimum level. You can do this through meal planning, exercise and, as recent science has shown us, adding omega 3 fish oil supplementation to your diet.
A study done at The University of South Australia found that daily supplementation of omega 3 fish oil helped obese people burn off extra weight. Researcher Alison Hill said, “The Omega-3 found in fish oil increases fat burning ability by improving the flow of blood to muscles during exercise.”
What more do you need? Omega 3 fish oil helps you get more out of the exercise you’re already doing (or should be doing). That simple fact goes a long way in helping you lose the extra pounds you’re carrying around. Fish oil health benefits are proven. But, just because fish oil is a fatty acid doesn’t mean other fats are good for you. Many aren’t.
When it comes to fish oil health benefits, saturated fats and trans-fats, we’re talking about the good, the bad and the ugly!
The 80’s were a decade of fat consciousness and concern. Leading authorities decided fats were our enemy. Everyone was advised to lower fat intake, especially from highly saturated fats and cholesterol rich foods. The reason why was clear.
Prior to a high fat meal, blood cells flow freely within your vessels. When they bump together, they actually bounce off each other.
However, approximately an hour after a fatty meal, the cells become sticky and start clumping together. These clumps eventually slow down blood flow so severely that, in some vessels, it actually stops.
People who consistently eat meals high in bad fats have continuous sludging of their blood. This leads to high blood pressure, narrowing arteries, plaque deposits and other cardiovascular health problems.
