Hi, I’m Michael Byrd.

I appreciate that you’ve stopped by to visit the blog. I’m excited to have a way to share some of the information that I use when advising my clients and making healthy decisions for myself and my family. I hope you find it helpful too.

I have over 18 years of education and experience in the fields of Physical Therapy, Health, Fitness and Nutrition. As a Physical Therapist, I began to notice that my degenerative disease patients (people with arthritis, stroke and diabetes) had two preventable characteristics in common – poor diets and tiredness.

Byrd FamilyAfter many years of searching, I finally came across the many health benefits of natural whole foods. Using myself as a guinea pig, I was able to overcome my tiredness, allergies and even my frequent illnesses. My wife no longer suffers from migraines, fatigue or PMS (thank goodness :-) ). And, what’s more, my kids have never needed a doctor. Well, I guess I can’t say never – there was that one incident with the water fountain and the stitches – but that’s another story. Plain and simple, my kids don’t get sick.

I’d love to be able to make a difference for you too. By making small changes to your diet, I can help you to look younger, feel better and stay healthy. So look around and read some of the articles – then get in touch. I’d be happy to talk with you.

Be well,

Michael

I have just started taking fish oil and the first product I purchased was a deodorized fish oil from GNC. Is the deodorized just as good as the regular ? Thanks for any comments on this subject.

Thank you for your information on omega-3 content of sardines. I eat them with olive oil thereby hitting a the needed 2:1 balance, I hope.

    Best to you,

    Elspeth (almost 70 yrs.)
