While all of these mental exercises are good for you, there is something far simpler that you can do to improve your mental health and your memory abilities: just start taking omega 3. Omega 3 fatty acids are essential fatty acids, which means that although your body cannot operate effectively without them, it also cannot make them on its own. This means that if you do not consume enough omega 3, then your body just has to learn how to do without it. While you may not notice any immediate effects of this adjustment, over time your heart health can suffer, and you can experience more mundane issues like muscle fatigue and an inability to focus.
