Fish Oil Fast Fact 202: Eating Your Way to Happiness

Contrary to what the makers of candy bars, ice creams and chocolate truffles would like you to think, you cannot truly eat your way to happiness with the help of any of these confections. In fact, eat too many, and you will be moaning and groaning instead of jumping for joy.

However, while chocolate and cake may not be the key to happiness, there is a food (or at least something in food) that can make improve your entire mindset. Do not be too disappointed; it is not sugary and sweet. But it is awfully good for you: fish oil.

Fish oil has many positive mental benefits because it contains high levels of omega 3 fatty acids, which many researchers believe contribute to improved focus and lower levels of stress. In people with chronic depression, resolving omega 3 shortages can resolve the condition.

Of course, the best way to control your mental well being is to maintain it at a smooth, contented level. So adding omega 3 rich fish oil to your daily nutritional supplement regimen is the best way to ultimately eat your way to happiness!
